Universal House of Justice issues Annual Message to Baha'is of the World

Riḍván Messages

Each year on the first day of Ridván—which generally falls on 20 or 21 April—the Universal House of Justice addresses a letter to the worldwide Bahá’í community, known as the Riḍván message. These letters touch on many subjects, including the growth and vibrancy of the Bahá’í community, its efforts to contribute to the life of society, and the progress of specific projects and plans. A number of the most recent Riḍván messages are included here.

This years message and a selection of those from previous years are available at:

Devotional gathering gives junior youth another spiritual space

The experience of young people in a Vista, California, junior youth group animated by Martin Brown and Adib Towfiq has whetted their appetite for additional spiritual communion. Several regularly attend a devotional gathering in nearby Carlsbad hosted by Martin’s family.

“These junior youth are enthusiastic about attending our devotional gathering,” says Martin’s mom, Nasrin. “When they attend, I can see how happy they are and that makes me happy.”

Oceanside Baha'is - Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program

The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program (JYSEP) is an educational process that seeks to raise capacity within the Junior youth population to take charge of their own spiritual, social and intellectual development. This program is open to all young people aged between 11 and 14, of every background, and assists them to navigate through this crucial stage in their lives.
