We believe every person comes into the world as a noble and beautiful creation of God. Our purpose in life is to draw closer to God by offering selfless service to others. Together, we are all citizens and caretakers of one planet.

This core belief in oneness calls us to actively root out our prejudices and the systemic inequalities that divide people of different backgrounds, national origins, genders and social classes.

Baha'is in North San Diego commemorate the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá - Holy Day

The Bahá’í community will observe the Ascension of `Abdu’l-Bahá on November 27. This holiday commemorates the death of `Abdu’l-Bahá in his house in Haifa in 1921. He was the eldest son and successor of Baha’u’llah, co-founder of the Bahá’í Faith. Over ten thousand mourners from diverse religions and ethnic communities attended his funeral. His remains were laid to rest in a vault next to the vault of the Báb on Mount Carmel.

North San Diego County Baha'is celebrate the Day of the Covenant - Holy Day

The Baha'is in various locations in North San Diego County will celebrate the Day of the Covenant on November 25, 2023. Open to the public, No donations or collections. Call 760-410-8067 for a nearby location.

Divine Image Baha'i School - Public welcome

The public is welcome to join us at the Divine Image Baha’i School (“DIBS”) with students from several surrounding cities. The classes are held twice monthly during the school year from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Stagecoach Community Center in Carlsbad. In total, we have 19 classes each year with a festive graduation in June to celebrate the year.

Path Toward World Peace - Video Screening

As the world suffers from the divisive forces of strife and intolerance, a new Faith advocates the oneness of humanity’s major religions as a path toward world peace. The Gate: Dawn of the Bahá’í Faith is a groundbreaking documentary that tells the amazing, true story of the Prophet Herald known as The Báb, His message, and the origins of a new era in world religion. Universal House of Justice issues Annual Message to Baha'is of the World

Riḍván Messages

Each year on the first day of Ridván—which generally falls on 20 or 21 April—the Universal House of Justice addresses a letter to the worldwide Bahá’í community, known as the Riḍván message. These letters touch on many subjects, including the growth and vibrancy of the Bahá’í community, its efforts to contribute to the life of society, and the progress of specific projects and plans. A number of the most recent Riḍván messages are included here.
